A woman deeply rooted in love for Jesus, the power of words, and holistic well-being.
After years of feeling silenced and cast aside in the midst of the circumstances that came her way, including the sudden loss of her mother and a devastating health diagnosis, Candice is no longer afraid to speak up and shut down the lies that whisper “unworthy” to the innermost parts of who she is. She’s walked a long road of self-discovery and healing to break up with the beliefs that left her people pleasing, self-sabotaging, in a creative rut, and stagnant. Now she’s living life on purpose—on assignment to help you slow down, be refreshed, find your voice, and show up with more clarity and confidence. She’s shining a light on what it really means to have peace that surpasses all understanding.
Candice earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations and a minor in sociology. She is a writer and editor, certified life coach and soon-to-be National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). Helping others find comfort, renewal and vitality through the beauty and power of words, fostering holistic well-being, and nurturing a sense of belonging excite her most. She has more than 15 years of experience writing and editing across various industries, using the art of storytelling to move people to action, and leading in Christian soul care spaces. At the heart of all her work is a desire to hold others’ stories, infuse people with hope, and create opportunities for them to gain clarity and move forward so they can experience fulfillment in every aspect of their lives.
When working with others in any capacity, Candice is both empathetic and gentle in her approach, while also authentic and bold. She is devoted to serving others well, and she’s a truth-teller who leans into the hard conversations, those topics and experiences that may be uncomfortable but necessary if we’re going to get honest, grow, and live with significance. She’s the friend who will invite you over for a cool glass of sparkling water with lime or a hot cup of coffee (or both, because why not?) and a good meal while you pour out your heart—and she’ll pray with you, encourage you, challenge you, and speak life into you, too.
She and her husband—her very best friend and greatest supporter—have been married for more than a decade. They live in Atlanta, GA.
